Active Older AdultsThe YMCA now offers several classes perfect for older adults who would like to enjoy the health benefits of regular exercise. Classes are FREE for members.
Gentle Sculpt Sculpt your body with mild to moderate level resistance training in a comfortable, open environment. Participants are led through a variety of different exercises by a personal trainer.
Gentle Yoga Yoga for those over the age of 50 or beginners. Gentle poses help you reduce your stress and achieve a state of relaxation.
Aqua Aerobics This instructor led program consists of stretching, toning and cardiovascular exercises, combining shallow and deep water activities. Equipment will be provided in each class. Participants should be comfortable in deep water and should have the ability to tread water.
Classes are scheduled in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Times will vary due to instructor availability. Please refer to the current season schedule available at the Front Desk. Special Discounts for Seniors (Age 65+)
