Personal TrainingMeet the Staff: Amede, Matt B. and Matt M. If you aren’t getting the results you want working out on your own, try personal training! The Cambridge YMCA has a staff of qualified trainers eager to help you meet your fitness objectives, whatever they may be. Your trainer will design a program just for you that focuses on your unique goals. You will get personal attention throughout each session to ensure you perform all exercises safely and effectively. All trainers are certified and trained in CPR/AED. Look through the trainer biographies at the Front Desk and choose the trainer that best meets your needs. Personal Training Pricing YMCA Members: $40 per 1 hr session $35 per 1 hr session when you buy 8 or more sessions Non-Members: $60 per 1 hr session $55 per 1 hr session when you buy 8 or more sessions Payment: Payment must be made at the time you schedule your training session. Cancellation: If you need to cancel your session, please call your trainer’s direct number and leave him or her a message. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled session, you will be billed for the session. (Exceptions may be made for emergencies or sudden illness at the discretion of the trainer). Personal Training Packages The Cambridge YMCA also offers training packages for individuals and groups. Packages include 8 one-hour sessions with a personal trainer, as well as extra services like pre & post-program body composition testing, strength testing, and 2 sessions with our nutritionist. Commit to achieving your fitness goals with one of these packages. Bulk Up The Bulk-Up package is for those who are interested in adding power to their performance, poundage to their lifts, or simply muscle to their frame. Whether you want to gain a size or a strength advantage in sports, let our professionals assist you. Fitness Assessment Understanding your current level of fitness can help you make your time in the gym more effective. A fitness assessment will motivate you by giving you a baseline against which you can track your progress toward your fitness goals. Nutritional Counseling Eating well starts with developing a conscious connection with ourselves and out bodies; with healthy bodies, we are free to grow and thrive as spiritual beings. Let our Licensed Dietitian Kelly Plowe guide you and show you how to achieve your nutritional/diet goals. Fee: $40 per 1 hr session, $35 per 1 hr session when you buy 8 or more sessions. Slim Down Losing weight (and keeping it) off can be extremely difficult. Let the professionals at the YMCA design a program for you based on the latest research on the most effective ways to lose extra pounds safely and permanently. Tone Up If you want to sculpt your body, this package is for you!
